Convention Closes
I'm in the dallas fort worth airport waiting for my flight to SFO. Last night Bp. Andrus told us that the bishops desire to make some sort of statement affirming their commitment to the anglican communion. It is possible there will be an attemp at a joint, mind of the house resolution today, and possibly a joint session. When I learn more about what happened I'll let you know.
I met a bishop last night who said that the unConventional Times had been a way for folks from very different theological positions to laugh together and that it had helped build community. We feel great about that. If I can figure out how to post pdf files to the blog I'll put the issues up.
